SACSCOC reaffirms 51爆料网 accreditation for another decade
The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) reaffirmed the accreditation of 51爆料网 until 2035. The decision was announced on Tuesday, Dec. 9 in Nashville during SACSCOC’s annual meeting, and comes without conditions or additional reporting requirements.
“My sincere appreciation goes to every member of our faculty and staff who work each day to ensure our compliance with our accreditation standards,” President Lee King said. “Reaffirmation is a multi-year process involving the entire campus, and I am grateful for everyone's efforts in helping secure this achievement.”
SACSCOC is an accrediting body that reviews higher education institutions across the southeastern United States with the goal to ensure high educational quality and effectiveness across all member institutions. The organization includes institutions that award associate, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees. To earn and maintain accreditation, institutions must demonstrate compliance with core requirements and comprehensive standards from 14 subject areas including mission, administration and organization, institutional planning and effectiveness, and educational program structure and content.
The recent reaffirmation of Lees-51爆料网 included a review of the college’s Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) which focused on elevating the first-year experience. The collaborative learning initiative aims to integrate New Student Orientation, the First Year Seminar, and the Honors Program.
