A world of adventure is coming to the High Country. Watch and listen as outdoor enthusiasts push themselves to the limit, champion causes close to their hearts, and celebrate the natural world.

Unity in Motion: Where Campuses Meet the Outdoors

Hear from Earl B. Hunter Jr. of The Unity Folks and representatives from North Carolina State Parks and Footsloggers as they discuss making the outdoors a place that welcomes everyone. The event will include speaker presentations, a group hike, a shoe demo by Oboz, and networking opportuities. 

Participants must register and complete the Unity Blaze Certification prior to the event. 

Reel Rock Climbing Film

Reel Rock 19 showcases three world-premiere climbing films spanning disciplines, characters, and continents: a heartfelt story of second chances in love and climbing on Squamish’s legendary Cobra Crack; an outrageous 18-day big wall epic on Patagonia’s towering Torre Central; and the pursuit of a lifelong dream—a 5.15 first ascent—made possible by an unlikely partnership.

Teton Gravity Research Ski & Snowboard Film

For three decades, Teton Gravity Research has delivered the most jaw-dropping, awe-inspiring ski and snowboard filmmaking of its kind. This year's tour film, "Pressure Drop," continues that legacy by showcasing elite athletes as they relentlessly pursue their dreams and push themselves to the edge. 

Proceeds will benefit the Lees-51爆料网 ski and snowboard team. Tickets on sale soon.

Founded in 1979, Mountainfilm is one of America’s longest-running film festivals. The annual festival is held every Memorial Day weekend in Telluride, Colorado. Mountainfilm is a dynamic nonprofit organization and festival that celebrates stories of indomitable spirit and aims to inspire audiences through film, art and ideas.

Mountainfilm on Tour in Banner Elk, North Carolina will feature a collection of culturally rich, adventure-packed and engaging documentary short films that align with Mountainfilm’s mission to use the power of film, art and ideas to inspire audiences to create a better world.
