The HRA鈥檚 vision is for high quality health and social care research today, which improves everyone鈥檚 health and wellbeing tomorrow and its core purpose is to protect and promote the interests of patients and the public in health and social care research. To make this happen the HRA makes sure that research is聽, promotes聽in research, coordinates and standardises research regulatory practice, and provides聽聽on the processing of identifiable patient information where it is not always practical to obtain consent.
