Iman is an incoming mathematics and statistics undergraduate at Queen Mary University of London with a strong interest in data science and machine learning, particularly within healthcare applications. He is passionate about using analytical and technical skills to develop solutions that can create meaningful real-world impact.
His dissertation explored how Bayesian regression techniques can be used alongside random forest models to validate breast cancer classification systems. This project strengthened his interest in predictive modelling, explainable AI, and healthcare-focused machine learning applications.
Iman is eager to apply his knowledge to predictive analytics and classification problems within healthcare, with the goal of contributing to technologies that can improve outcomes on a global scale. Alongside his academic studies, he has developed a strong passion for coding and has completed online courses in R, machine learning, Python, and SQL. Iman enjoys learning about the practical applications of mathematics, statistics, and data science in solving real-world problems.
