Irene Poku is a member of the public, a Public Reviewer, and an active contributor to Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) at the University of Oxford. As a patient and public advocate, she has worked closely with key stakeholders across the NHS Outpatient Transformation Programme, the NIHR Central Commissioning Facility, and charitable organisations to surface insights on patient experience, health inequalities, and system pressures. She has contributed to gathering insights for strategic recommendations that inform decision-making at both board and policy levels.Ìý
Irene began her career as a drug development scientist and brings over 20 years of experience in clinical trials. SheÌýremainsÌýdeeply committed to amplifying the patient and public voice across research and drug development.Ìý
She is also a qualified Project Manager and a certified Executive Coach.Ìý
