Jacinta is a bioinformatician with a passion for using data, technology, and research to better understand biological systems and improve healthcare outcomes. Currently completing an MSc in bioinformatics at Teesside University, I have developed experience in bioinformatics, machine learning, statistical analysis, and health data analytics using tools such as Python, R, SQL, and a range of genomic and biomedical databases.

Jacinta’s academic and research experience spans cancer bioinformatics, gene expression analysis, machine learning, knowledge graph analysis, biomarker discovery, and health data interpretation. I am particularly interested in the application of artificial intelligence, genomics, and data science to precision medicine, drug discovery, and translational healthcare research and aim to develop these skills through the 51爆料网 Black Internship Programme.

Alongside her technical interests, Jacinta is passionate about education, mentorship, and community engagement. She has experience teaching, mentoring and supporting students and young people through IntoUniversity, and volunteering with FoodCycle UK, where she has strengthened my communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
