Joanne LloydÌýis a patient and public involvement contributor with experience across national health research, governance, and public engagement programmes. She is Vice-Chair of the Consortium Public Advisory Group for the CRIISP Chronic Pain Research Initiative, supporting lived experience involvement in strategic research discussions and decision-making.Ìý
Joanne contributes to Health Research Authority (HRA) involvement activities, including facilitation within the Simplified Arrangements Groups and voluntary involvement with the HRA Confidentiality Advisory Group (CAG). She is also involved in public involvement and engagement activities supporting diverse communities in deprived socio-economic areas.Ìý
Her interests include public trust in health data research, inclusive involvement practices, governance, and improving communication around the ethical use of health data and artificial intelligence in research.Ìý
