Margaret is a final year medical student intercalating with an MSc in public health at LSTM, where she has focused on how health services are managed and what goes into delivering them effectively.
Her interest in women’s health grew through time spent in obstetric wards and clinics spaces that showed her how much it matters for women to feel seen and heard. This took her into research exploring Black women’s experiences of digital pregnancy services, and got her thinking about how digital health can reduce rather than deepen existing inequalities.
She’s joining the NIHR Sheffield Biomedical Research Centre excited to build her data analysis skills and see how technology translates into real outcomes for patients.
