Originally from south-east London, Mimi is currently studying mathematics (MMath) at the University of St Andrews. She has completed modules in statistical machine learning and mathematical computing this year, cementing her intent to specialise further in mathematical computation. Additionally, Mimi has been interested in how mathematics can be used to analyse gender-based health disparities since sixth form, having contributed writing to her school journals on the delay of male contraception, and statistical dilemmas pertaining to mental health. Mimi hopes this internship will propel her closer towards completing a PhD in health data science.
