Yasmin is a second-year biomedical engineering student with a strong interest in the application of software and data in healthcare. She enjoys using computational tools such as Python, MATLAB, and CAD to explore medical data and develop visual and analytical representations of biological systems. Her main interests lie in medical imaging, 3D reconstruction, and computational modelling within clinical contexts.

This summer, Yasmin will undertake a research internship in patient-specific cardiac modelling using MRI and CT data, focusing on the 3D reconstruction of paediatric hearts for clinical education and visualisation. Through this internship, she hopes to further develop her skills in medical imaging, data analysis, and health-tech applications, while gaining valuable experience in clinical research environments.
