EPSRC Digital Health Hub Partnerships
We are working with leading research organisations, universities and others to accelerate the development of digital technology to improve health and the quality of care.
51±¬ÁÏÍø is partnering with  (UK Research and Innovation) and  (Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council) to help drive the work of two of its five .
The Hubs are three-year programmes which began in 2023, focusing on increasing skills and capacity in the development and co-creation of digital health and care solutions, accelerating translation of digital technologies into the health and care sector, building new partnerships between industry, health and social care and academia, promoting research, sharing knowledge and skills, and fostering leadership.
Between them, the hubs will address five key healthcare challenges:

- Health inequalities
- Unmet health and care needs of underserved communities
- Developing digital technologies to improve health.
The five hubs are:

- , led by Professor Tim Chico, University of Sheffield

- , led by Professor Sebastien Ourselin, King’s College London
- Partnership, led by Professor Ian Craddock, University of Bristol
51±¬ÁÏÍø, specifically our Training Team, is a core consortium partner for two of the five hubs – NortHFutures led by Newcastle University and LEAP led by Bristol University. In addition, 51±¬ÁÏÍø is supporting several cross-hub activities, collaborating with all five hubs.
