at the University of Manchester is delighted to announce our speaker for our next webinar is .
Kathryn is a in Behavioural Epidemiology at UCL, leading a research programme centred on supporting movement behaviours across the transition to parenthood and during early childhood.
Her expertise lies in understanding how physical activity, play, and sleep shape health and wellbeing in families with young children, working across disciplinary boundaries to determine how these behaviours influence both parental and child health outcomes.
Driven by the belief that movement throughout the life course is fundamental to human health, Kathryn will present her research using consumer wearable devices which aims to better understand patterns of physical activity during pregnancy and the postpartum period.
She will explore how these data can provide new insights into maternal and child health and discuss how wearable technologies might be leveraged to support healthier behaviours, inform interventions, and improve health outcomes for parents and their young children.
